He’s become the Dodgers’ late-game lifeline, and Wednesday he became a piece of their history. With the game tied at three in the sixth, Max Muncy drove a two-run homer to left-center off Aaron Nola — the 229th of his Dodgers career, moving him past Ron Cey into fifth place on the franchise’s all-time list. Dalton Rushing snapped an 0-for-19 skid with his 11th homer and drove in three, Tommy Edman added a bases-clearing triple in the eighth and finished with three RBI, and Freddie Freeman collected three hits including two doubles, tying Robinson Canó and Iván Rodríguez for 26th all-time. Eric Lauer gave up three over 5⅓ to earn the win. The Dodgers take the series 2-1 and stay atop baseball.
